I'm not sure if this is the right section to put this thread but I decided to pick up the guitar and was thinking of buying an electric so I would really appreciate any suggestions you guys have of what would be a good guitar for a beginner on a budget
(still a student) of $150 to $200 thanks!!!

well i can give some... first if you buying a electric guitar you may need and amp also for your budget that could be kinda deficult to find something. I recomend you to try to get a good amp like a roland cube, fender mustang line6 whatever, one of those amps would spend you almost 100 bucks or something like that... then about the guitar, if you would like to learn abit of every genre i recomend you to try find an electric guitar with more than one pickup and with an humbucker on the bridge (if you dont know what im talking about look at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickup_%28music_technology%29) and try to find, probably one of most important stuff a guitar that is confortable and that you enjoy...
