Who do you guys consider to be the greatest musician alive today? The person you choose can be representative of any one genre, many genres, be able to play multiple instruments, one instrument or none at all and sing.

In my opinion, the greatest musician alive today is Dave Grohl. The man is multi-talented. He can play many different instruments including guitar, drums, piano, bass and can sing. He is an incredible songwriter and has had a huge impact on music over his 28 year career so far. Coming to fame as the drummer from Nirvana, he already had a certain amount of success, but it was when he founded Foo Fighters that he was really noticed by the public and recognised as a genuine musical talent, not just "that drummer from Nirvana".
