Depressive Black Metal (2)

1 Name: Plaga : 2014-10-16 21:31 ID:9G9SZ4/R [Del]

I remember constantly listening to this genre in 7th grade and has grown back as something I listen to everyday again.
Shining
Happy Days
Skitliv
Silencer
A few examples. Who else listens to this genre and are there any recommendations.

Not sure this needs it own thread, it could probably fit well into the established metal/hardcore thread which my phone makes it too hard to link.

But I used to listen to a band called Forgotten Tomb when I was at the height of my black metal phase. It was good, aside from thr fact that it was all basically the same shit over and over again. You might like it if you're really into the genre, though, which it would seem that you are.

I'd more recommend the band Coldworld, hiwever, especially their album Melancholie2 (squared). More atmospheric/ambient black metal than depressive, but the elements are there.
