This a dupe, but the other thread ain't really any better.
I've gotta say, I really do like Eminem. Admittedly, I only started really listening to hip-hop recently (I was pretty much on the "rap is crap" bandwagon for years), but out of most of the rap albums I've listened to, none of then have hit me quite as hard as The Slim Shady LP or, in particular, The Marshall Mathers LP, which was so mind-blowingly awesome that I went out and bought it almost immediately after I'd finished listening to it. His latest album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is pretty awesome as well, in my opinion the first good album he's released since the original.
My favourite song - that's a difficult question. Depending on the album, his songs have different moods. TSSLP is so brilliantly evil and juvenile and angry and sarcastic, and also hilarious, whereas TMMLP is just as angry, but more moody and mature, admittedly less funny, but a lot more intense, occasionally shocking. I really can't recommend the album enough - I'd go so far as to say that it completely changed the way that I look at music.
But I digress - favourite trac(s), by album.
The Slim Shady LP - Role Model, Guilty Conscience, '97 Bonnie and Clyde, My Fault, I'm Shady, and Still Don't Give a Fuck
The Marshall Mathers LP - The Way I Am, Kill You, Kim (you people must hear this song. There aren't many artists who would create anything quite like this. It's sickening - and brilliant. And sickening.), Stan, Criminal, Amityville, and Bitch Please II.
The Eminem Show - My Dad's Gone Crazy and Sing for the Moment.
Encore (Note: this album fucking sucks) - Spend Some Time (annoyingly simple lyrics, but sweet song/story)
Relapse (No. This album sucks worse)
Recovery (This album sucked too.)
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 - Brainless, Headlights, Baby, and Desperation
