Fun. is an American indie pop band based in New York City that consists of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, and Jack Antoff. After the breakup of The Format, Ruess formed Fun with Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff, of Anathallo and Steel Train, respectively.

The band is best known for its three hit singles: Grammy Award-winning "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monáe), "Some Nights", and "Carry On".

Frankly, I love this band and was suprised that they didnt already have a thread because of their recent popularity over the past year. Before even entertaining the idea of buying "Some Nights" I bought their first album, "Aim and Ignite" thinking that it couldnt even compare to the songs I already knew by them and I found that my pretenses were shattered as they usually are. I am absolutley in love with the meanigful lyrics and ethereal feel. An absolutely amazing band with amazing music.

I saw them in June 2011 right before Panic! At The Disco came on, and they really got the crowd going and it was just really awesome. I wish I could see them again.
