I have a 5 string now and I was wondering if anyone else had to take extra time to get used to it??? I've played bass on occation but this 5 string is The First One Ive Owned

Not sure this really deserves it's own thread so I'll sage but-

I didn't have much issue playing five string. I don't get to play bass very often, but it's mostly just on my friend's 4string. Whenever I've played my brother's 5string though, it's felt natural enough.

Maybe that's just cause I'm mainly a guitarist, so there's enough jump from that to a bass to keep the extra string from being a problem, I'm already adjusting to something that is a little different. But heck, I played a 6string bass and that was okay too.
