Didn't see a thread on it made me somewhat sad :( I listen to this kind of music even if I'm not christian. So anyway what is your favorite christian rock band or singer? This thread is not nessacaraly about favorites but anything that has to do with the genre. I love Skillet the best though~ XD

In my honest opinion, if a band devotes itself solely to religious themes it's not my cup of tea. Bands that have christian backgrounds, like Flyleaf or even Paramore, are alright though. They keep it separate enough that it appeals to anyone and doesn't have to mix in those ultimately private preferences.
When a band only sings about literally jesus and god and shit it kind of grates on me. It feels restrictive and preachy, like they don't have anything else to sing about - and hardcore christians eat that shit up.
I have a strong opinion on this because all my roommates are suddenly hardcore christian and I'm getting sick of hearing worship music every damned day, be it from speakers or from them singing loudly in the living room.
