I’m not really a world record geek and so I’m not really that excited about the new edition of Guinness Book of World Records being released on November 18th. For those of you who are waiting to get your hands on the latest edition to find out who has the world’s longest ear hair or what the world’s largest sushi mosaic looks like, be sure you take a moment to look at the record for 'Pop Group with the Most Amount of Members’ now held by Japanese pop group AKB48 (despite losing some members recently to “scandal”).
So congratulations girls! We all may have to listen to debates about how much “talent” you actually possess
but you’re now world record holders and no one can take that away from you… besides some freakish 49 member group in the future.
But let’s worry about them later.

This is actually a good band, despite its number that is. And it even has sub-groups. That is what scared me. But AKB48 itself is nice :))
