In a world where we don't have a self-renewing energy method that actually lasts and produces for the long term. The ai apocalypse can happen but it won't last long, since we ALSO don't have robot agents for them to build and upkeep the power plants. We might have a data crisis at some point in the more near than id like future, but we're not going to land in Terminator or The Matrix.
