Hey there newbie, let's go over a few things about the general ideology and the meaning here.
1: The point of this group is to be an anonymous group first and foremost with the goal of helping others, if that isn't for you that's fine.
2: We are a volunteer only group of likeminded people, if someone says you "have" to do something to join other than wanting to; they are lying to you or manipulating you.
3: As far as what you should do, it isn't that complicated. You see something that needs your help and you help. Something as small as picking up a wrapper from the ground to committing time to a shelter to help or cleaning up the rivers and creeks. It is entirely up to you. The glue that holds us together is accountability and care.
4: Organizing: If you wish to organize together in person, there will be meetings scheduled in the future for the EC area for those interested as well as group cleanups and/or events.
5: There are chatrooms linked to this main page, however they are not under the direct umbrella of the main dollars page and are susceptible to other outside influences and spam. Use at your own risk. Commenting on this thread is fine for now to say hi and that you're here.
