There is one thing in the system that never changes. And it is the habit of cribbing. People keep on cribbing about the problems that they are facing in the system. But no one wants to take an initiative to start the change. Now at this time when general elections are near, people are busy blaming the political system for all the problems going on in country. Do you think that our political system is the reason for our backwardness?

But i will reply anyway. I think we don't have enough people who wants to make a change.
Even if we do, most of them will be on the streets protesting. It is a good thing but to make it more impact someone from the inside needs to make the initiative/changes.

Or we ourselves need to become influential and powerful to make a change. Someone can say i want to make a change.
The hard fact about change it requires:
-Dedication
-Money(Resources (not just cold hard cash))
-People to follow you (and don't quit halfway)

Hey, this "languishness" is caused by the long debates and the fact that politics don't want to take risks by implicating themselves.

Though, a too fast large-scale decision could mean that people did not step back to consider it, and that there weren't many debate : that's the best way to pass a mistake.

In other words, I prefer having a backward state than a state that takes the lead on the people.

If you want to act swiftly, do it at a local scale : by your own behavior, in an association, or at the town hall or local institutions.
(Though, that's true that regarding the size of the U.S. and the importance of the companies, taking a decision could be hard, and that could explain why the gov has so big difficulties to sustain the country).
