I'm currently playing Dark Souls 3 for the first time and I was looking for a thread on it so I could talk about some stuff but I couldn't find anything.

There's also Demon Souls, any thoughts on that game?

rn I'm struggling with the Dancer of the Boreal Valley but I was just wondering if people still play the game and enjoy it.

I play the souls games from time to time, mostly ds1 tho. Btw I also struggled a lot with the dancer, for me probably the hardest boss in the game

Dancer is tough but I was also struggling with Yhorm. It was hard for me to use the Storm Ruler. So frustrating!

To beat the dancer at the beginning you wanna stay near her right leg and roll inwards and outwards. After she pulls her second sword out stay away from her when she spins the proceed to bait her slams which while she’s in cooldown from it you can hit her.

I think Dark Souls 3 is my least favorite of the trilogy. It would've had a lot more charm if not for almost everything being a "hey remember this from DS/DS2?". I think it would make callbacks like Nameless King stand out more as one of fewer callbacks instead of one out of a million references.
Also, the idea of the bosses being lords of cinder kind of trivializes Gwyn, making him Lord of Cinder No.### in some sort of multiverse and not as unique as they portrayed him in DS.
