Not sure what really classifies as horror but I would say Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte. Tokyo Ghoul manga is way better but it can be tough to follow sometimes so I am glad there is an anime.

High School Of The Dead I enjoyed. I think I saw a preview thingy of parasite and it was really wrong. I think it was Parasite. I dunno. I also saw Another and enjoyed it.

I think Mirai Nikki and Puella Magi Madoka Magica are tied for me. Both of the series' give me chills, and the storylines are interesting and complex in their own ways. They are also very tragic and WILL give you a serious case of the feels. The scary parts of each series comes from Yuno and her psychotic and detached personality, and Kyuubey's complete lack of emotions and understanding of human feelings.
