wrong, you used a qwerty password. That was an example password. And lots of people, like you, tend to mistake that and end up using it, which would then defeat the purpose of a tripcode, to differentiate you from others.
Basically, to set up a tripcode, you put in a password, as if you were putting in your email's password.
