Can someone help me?
Im trying to download some files and programs on my browser, but when i download it, it's downloading html file instead the file i want
i used malwarebytes and it says "no threat detected"

Mind putting a little more detail. I'm not a tech wiz so I don't what's happening off the top of my head. What is the file originally? Is it a link or are you doing the right click thing? Are you making sure you're clicking the right thing? It might be really easy so I'm going to wait for someone show me up lol.

Sounds like your missing a certain program maybe you should download a program that accesses these types of files that you're looking for. Though I am not the brightest I think this maybe a help to you or to someone else that you maybe know

when you right click and select "download", you download the download page and not the file itself.
Most probably.

Use a dedicated download button if it's available. Or go as far as possible to only have the file, and not the page that features it.

Also, don't rely on a software to detect viruses : that's not reliable. Use your common sense.
