Hi everyone, i'm trying to transfer data(from a program for attendance) from one computer to other computer by using a teamviewer and port forwarder.
My senior told me i can do it by using the VPN feature from teamviewer and transfer the data using port forwarder. and the computers that connected is from a remote place, so it's not connected by LAN.

so is anybody know how to do this? or there is a better way to do it?
thanks a lot for your time!

P.S.: below is how it's roughly pictured.

I need to know if both computers are on the same local network or not. If you using a VPN simply to transfer files, its a bit of a waste when you could probably get away with normal FTP share from PC1 and having PC2 access it. Please give me as much info as possible and i'll try to help.

Thanks for replying, sorry for not explaining quite clearly.
both of the computers is on a different network, so it's like computer 1 is on building A, and computer 2 is on building B which is about 15km from building A.

I do once proposes to the higher ups to use FTP share but they didn't want to use it as to think it would be a more waste because the people in the computer 2 will still have the backup data.

The process to transfer files is something like this, both computer have the same attendance program installed, by using VPN, i don't have to remote view the computer 2 to export the data. i only have to use the computer 1(which connected to computer 2 by using VPN) attendance program to export the computer 2 data.

Did i explain it well? feel free to ask more for more info, if i explaining not quite well. thank you

Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Try searching SSH Tunnel port forwarding.
