so here's the situation...
>flash drive was corrupted...i think, inbcluding a very important ms word file
>saved the file directly to the flash drive while working on iton my compueter
>tried to print sometjhing and inserted the flash drive in a different comouter where it gets corrupted
>cant find the file in the flash drive when i was about to open it back in my own compputer

Sounds like it most likely was lost. You could try viewing hidden files. Another option might be to use 3rd party recovering software. Also maybe the trash file has it if you have access to a Linux machine.

Usually if a flash drive is on its way out it keeps saying the drive is corrupted as well.
