Gaming setup advice request (6)

Looking to update my peripherals for my gaming setup. I want to try to get a color scheme going for the whole setup and I would like to avoid painting things if at all possible. My theme (as generic as it may be) is primarily white with black accents and blue LED's. Currently my whole setup is pretty much just black because of my old setup. I have the black NZXT Phantom 530, Razer blackwidow chroma, mamba chroma, and tartarus chroma, and the corsair mm300 extended mousepad. I was thinking about going corsair because I've been having trouble with razer synapse, but I can't find a corsair replacement for my tartarus and I prefer cherry mx blue switches (or equivalent) for typing and I haven't seen a keyboard from corsair with blue switches yet, (though I've mainly been looking at my local microcenter). Also as far as cases go, I'm stuck between the white NZXT Phantom 530 and the white NZXT Noctis, but the only reason I didn't just go get the noctis is because I use my disc drives and it doesn't have any of those bays. Overall I'm trying to keep things as cheap as possible but aside from me not wanting to paint anything some of this gear is getting old and starting to show its age in functionality. If some of you guys could point me towards some good gear it would be much appreciated!

Corsair keyboards are a bit pricey, but check out newegg. Newegg has a better selection, and usually better priced components.

I would go with the enthusiast edition, AKA the regular nzxt phantom case, opposed to the 530. I think it is bigger too.

Are you just planning on updating the case and peripherals, or the whole pc?

Just the case and peripherals. I recently updated the components, and got them matching the color scheme I'm going for.

I had the original Phantom case, but it wore down kinda quickly. The door ended up falling off for whatever reason and the headphone jack ended up failing on me after the first couple of months with minimal use. Plus I kind of prefer the look of the newer NZXT cases.

That blows, mine is still going strong after about 3-4 years. I don't know much on peripherals, but I have a Logitech mouse that is still doing good, which is about 6 years old.

I do think NZXT has the most aesthetically pleasing cases too. As you probably already know, one major downside to NZXT is the fan slots usually only accommodate their fans and not standard posts. That was the only thing I can say was negative about my case.
