If they're asking for laptop recommendations, do you think they posses the ability to build their own? If they could build their own laptop, they wouldn't ask strangers for recommendations. They would know what to look for to fit their needs or just build one.
Christ..unless you're offering to show them how to build one.

Right. Seriously now. I didn't have time to properly reply lol xD

Now that I do, I've got one recommendation.
The "gaming PC's" aren't even close compared to the general "purpose PC's" on Walmart. Don't look there. The people there don't know shit about computers.

The best laptop I have found was THIS BEAUTY <3... Well.. It's not THAT good but... It's really good for your kind of money. It's better than my laptop, put it that way. Quick specifications that I commented on...:

Graphics Information: Radeon R7 M360 Graphics (Good for mid to low end gaming)
Hard Drive Capacity: 1 TB (Good for most stuffs)
Processor Type: AMD A-Series (Not sure but they overclocked it.. should be okay ^.^)
Optical Drive: DVD-Writer (always good to have one of those)
Processor Speed: 2 GHz (You can always overclock.... It's no good to be looking at clock speed these days)
RAM Memory: 16 GB (Fantastic (x2 what I have :c ))
Operating System: Windows 10 (Good if you like the NSA)
Screen Size: 17.3" (Good size.. Not so good if you want to put it into a bag (you'll need a really big one))
Brand: AMD (Never really disappoints)

(Deleted last post because of shitty dollar formatting)

>>6 that sounds like an awesome laptop. Been looking for one too. The one I have is starting to wear on me. How much does yours go for?

P.S. I responded to the permamessaged post.

>>1 >>7 I just figured id pop in and give my 2 cents as a PC technician. That laptop is pretty solid for the price. But just a heads up. That CPU isn't overclockable. The rest of the specs are solid though. Honestly id be suspicious of a scam for those specs in that price range. I'm selling my USED gaming laptop for more than that. Best of luck
