If anyone isn't familiar with the site, it's the main chat room for Dollars. And it's shut down. As of July 1, 2016, every time I try accessing it, only a message in Japanese comes up, translated:
"Always Thank you very much for your use of the Durarara !! chat room.

Actually without permission, this site is we have closed by now has a June 30, 2016.

To everyone of your user We apologize for the inconvenience, but we Thank you very much use this service over a long time until today from March 2010."

So what happened?? Is this temporary (it doesn't sound like it), or is it gone for good?

It's gone for good. You can start using the other chat website we have linked, drrr.com, if you want to continue to use a Durarara-esque chat. Anyway, a couple.of threads were made regarding this, and we do not need another one. There was a complaint thread on Main, so I'd you want to look at the comments there, feel free. However, you should not bump that thread, because it is now unnecessary since the news is already out, and people had their time to vent about it. I believe this problem has been resolved, so this doesn't need to be bumped, I guess.

There is a warning there about viruses, which is why people have migrated to other chats, such as Sunnyhome. Somebody also mentioned something about a site called darasu.xyz, so perhaps that could be an alternative? Pleas÷ refer all further questions to the FAQ, and don't bump this again.
