Yes, hoverboards technically exist but they're not what people imagined them to be. Some don't actually hover, some only hover over special surfaces and the Arca Board hovers but it's an enormous slab that only works for 6 minutes and costs almost 20 grand. And it's unlikely that the hoverboards like the ones from 'Back to the future' will ever be a thing.
