1 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 18:50 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

Is there anyone who can help me here? I managed to get my hackers IP address but I don't know what my next step is going to be...

2 Name: Usagi : 2016-01-25 18:54 ID:Q5QVw9qJ [Del]

1) If they stole your credit numbers report to the company
2) Report any suspicious activity
3) Update your security
4) If your a minor and you didn't have anything worth stealing then ignore them

3 Name: Hiroki : 2016-01-25 18:55 ID:kBlSb71r [Del]

What information could have been stolen ?

Change all the possibly stolen passwords, call your bank if credit card/banking data was stolen, report it to your university or company if some possibly stolen data was their data.

4 Name: Hiroki : 2016-01-25 18:56 ID:kBlSb71r [Del]

And report it to the police if your stored sensitive data.

If your Skype account password was stolen, close all the remote sessions after changing your password.

Are you still online ?

How were you hacked ?

6 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 19:01 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

I'm still here. I have no fucking clue how I got hacked but it seems to be the same person. I have nothing worth stealing but still, it is a little bit scary you know. I have personal shit on my hotmail. The IP I tracked was 86.19.56.2

7 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 19:07 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

HE IS IN...HE GOT INTO MY FB...

8 Name: Hiroki : 2016-01-25 19:11 ID:kBlSb71r [Del]

Ok, so change your Facebook password NOW

Some here's a summary:
(0) Analyses how they made it and be sure you're not at risk now.

(1) Prepare and run a rescue CD to scan your computer and be sure that it is now safe.

(2) Whilst it it running, call your bank if banking/credit card data might have been stolen. Also report it to the owner of data that might have been stolen. (but these lasts reports can be done later)

(3) Change your passwords: online accounts, Wi-Fi, or your home's alarm or anything that was stored on what the hackers reached. Since it could be difficult to remember a lot by now, you can use a software like Keepass and the Symantec password generator.

(4) Make sure no remote session is open from your online accounts.

(5) Report it to the police if sensitive data was stolen.

(6) Step your security up to prevent further attacks: update everything, etc

Using the IP address, I could get more info on this person, but nothing else, since i don't know a lot on what happened.

10 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 19:13 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

I'll stop there for now, but if it comes to the point where you need to know more and i agree with the cause, i can help you find out more. i won't give you my email just for a safety precaution, but ill make a new one and send it here in a few.

15 Name: Hiroki : 2016-01-25 19:24 ID:kBlSb71r [Del]

So what did they hacked ? Your computer or only your FB ?

16 Name: Lux : 2016-01-25 19:26 ID:QIruu+P8 [Del]

I just realized. Don't spam that facebook above guys. If a hacker really got hold of it and sees your spams, things won't look so good.

17 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 19:29 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

20 Name: Araven : 2016-01-25 19:40 ID:5bRZN+E7 [Del]

My email and everything with it was hacked. I haveen't burnt a cd. I am trying to deactivate my account.

21 Name: Hiroki : 2016-01-25 19:46 ID:kBlSb71r [Del]

If you no longer have access to a specific account just report it hacked to the service provider and case closed. You can't do further and that's a waste of time.
(Or report the baddies here http://netreport.virginmedia.com/netreport/ )

No good would come from making hasty actions without knowing all the details first. Obviously, we only have a small portion of the conflict.

Quit it ! You're not law enforcers you will get arrested !

And before investigating and publicly posting that, are you at least sure that Araven was really hacked ? And that the IP address belongs to hackers and/or STILL belong to them ?

34 Name: Jmanisgreat !FzAyW.Rdbg : 2016-01-29 16:11 ID:vyquKfv4 [Del]

True. We aren't the government. But we are trying to help someone out. And really what does Araven have to gain by lying about something that serious? Unless the hackers were smart about it and used a proxy (which I kinda doubt they did) that is their IP. It's not something that you can just change by pressing a button. And I should know as I was in charge of systems and networking in a state wide coding group. More qualifications to assure you that I know what I'm doing? My father ran one of the first web servers off of a router in our house. Not to mention the whole I personally know the head of IT and networking at Cisco of an entire country.

I know what I'm doing. Trust me here. Nothing has happened yet other than information gathering.

35 Name: Lux : 2016-01-31 15:09 ID:QIruu+P8 [Del]

I'm with >>33. Why give out his/her address in an anonymous message board? We don't even know the actual details.

36 Name: Sphinx : 2016-02-01 10:02 ID:xDO6eLoo [Del]

Unless we have any Jihadists in the group I highly doubt itll be a problem having that info.

37 Name: Yuurei !l6b21W13yM : 2016-02-02 22:05 ID:bXcdDb6/ [Del]

Call the cops. If the hacker did anything illegal then that's your best bet

38 Name: Truth : 2016-02-07 14:46 ID:MsUvyMSs [Del]

If the hacker was at least mildly good at what they do, whoever it was would have been either using a proxy or vpn. The IP you probably have won't help you out, but if you know for sure is leads to an actual source, then go ahead and contact the police.
