As a newbie and someone with almost no background on programming, I hacked accounts (if that's what you mean by hacking) using phishing and keylogging, accompanied by social engineering.
By phishing (google it), this works very well for me. You can search in google for howtos and there are a lot ready made codes for you to copy. In my case, i study basic html and css to make my phishing pages more believable and to customize it according to my target. Even with ready made codes, i had hard time not knowing where to put this and that. And by social engineering, I use my communication skills to persuade the target to visit my site.

As for keylogging(googleit), it's just a software so you just need to secretly install it in your victim's computer. I used ardamax before, it sends the logs via email. Search for better keyloggers if you want. There are some which you can attach the program to a file or picture and auto installs itself to the computer when the victim clicks it.

Defacing a website, I guess it's about changing a website's design. Search google for tutorials, this one's easy I guess. You just need to find a website that is vulnerable to this kind of attack. SQL injection somethin like that

RAT (Remote Administration Tools), you will be able to control devices remotely. Browse their files and shit, turn on webcam, delete shits etc. You control their device as your own. This is just a software, secretly install one to your victim's device and login your ID. I believe that they're commonly sent as Trojans, like iin the keylogger, You attach them to a file or photo and auto installs itself. Just search for a good one

These are the methods I used to "hack" people accounts or devices (if that's what you mean by hacking) But I saw a real hacker once, someone in the internet challenged him to hack his account, and yeah he got it, together with name of the guy, his address, his workplace and job and other information. If you want to be like this guy, study real shit and be patient. No one can master it overnight. I don't have the patience so I guess I'll remain as a scriptkiddie for a long time. Hope this helps -hackerwannabehere

Be careful of downloading softwares randomly. Most of the softwares end up hacking yourselves too.

I've found a good TV show about hacking. The show is called Mr. Robot. I know it's not entirely accurate, like the whole blowing up a gas pipeline with a tiny bit of code you wrote while high, but it does have a pretty good representation of the whole process of what needs to be done. Usually physical access is needed to the target computer, whether that be software installed from the internet or a thumbdrive plugged in. It's pretty difficult to hack into someone without in some way going through the target's computer or network.

Um, you could try the hour of code. Search it up on google. You don't need to download anything and they're pretty fun.

P.S. I know the hour of code is for kids, but I remember there was this Pokemon program thing that taught you how to use JavaScript.
