Do you have an old XBOX 360 Kinect with the power adapter?
You should know that the source code for these devices has recently been made public by Microsoft, and you would not believe what people have achieved after getting it working with PC.
Things such as:

. - Physical user interface by swiping thine air and turning . pages on the screen
. - Cheap touch screen on any wall with projector
. - A sign language translator (seriously look it up)

Honestly, considering what they're priced at nowadays you should definitely get your hands on one. And if you already have one laying around, make sure you have the power adapter so it can plug into your PC, then simply stick it in your closet and wait for the next big thing!

Yup a bunch of prototypes use the Kinect system, minus the x-box. It is a cheap system that allows user interaction without any use of a controller. They just have to program certain movements, or signals, into the software.
