I'm looking to upgrade my pc from the gtx 750 ti to a gtx 960. However with my budget lately i've been looking to cutback on costs. If someone can point me in the right direction to a cheap yet effective variant of the 960 or something similar to it, i'd deeply appreciate it.

As much as I like AMD, I recommend that you avoid the r9 370.

Check this out. currently the best bang for your buck gtx 960 variant.

R9 380 is a much better choice than the R7 370 and GTX 960. Also that R9 380 4gb version is so cheap

NVM my previous post. Listen to >>5. The R9 380 4GB is a great budget card, just make sure that you have a good Power supply to feed the card.
