I heard that the system they used in the anime Sao is coming to life in 2015. They already have cool stuff related to it, but it's gonna get really good. I only wish we had more time to experience new stuff. Life's kind of short..

First off all, Sword Art Online is the worst anime ever created.
Second off, their entire concept is ripped of from Dot Hack.

Third, Dot Hacks HMD's have already been available for a long time, and they're only getting better.

By 2030, a human will have plugged their brain into a computer.
However, NerveGear will *Never* be a real thing.

NerveGear is not VR.

yea it kind of is.. but i doubt that it will look like rl.
probably in 200 years. but it will most likely have glitches and look like call of duty in your life time.

I thought the most prevalent mainstream VR is oculus. I thought they were still testing electrical impulses that relay info to and from the brain. I know prosthetic limbs are delving in that world, but I didn't think we had the knowledge, and technology, to create fictional information to the brain. Practically like sending a Virtual world by linking a system to your nerves.

I fear missing out on something that'll interest me in the future, so I enjoy everything I can today, personally I don't necessarily like VR stuff, I mean, the immersion is awesome, but I prefer to leave immersion to horror and story driven, imagine how dumb the COD community would be with VR?

Occulus is just like, A big LCD screen put in a goggle and plastered in your face with a controller.
