Hey guys, i've often seen those pictures on the internet of people hacking into screens in terminals or places because their WiFi was insecure or some other reasons.
I don't have much experience with coding but with python and C#, i've always wondered how people learn to do this, what program is required? how do they find vulnerabilities in sites?

You really don't need to know this. But look up wire-shark or backtrack.

Anyway wireshark is more or less what i had in mind, if i could edit the packets that'd be great, still looking for something that can intercept AND edit packets.

In a nutshell if you got on a network that was not secured you'd use a program like WireShark to scan items on the network you are connected to. Once you had found a PC you would be looking to do a Remote Desktop session with the target. If the target happens to be an admin account you can do almost anything on the PC including setting up a way to get in in the future (although you if you can get into their Gateway device you can do this as well).

I know I didn't give specifics but that's what you are looking to do.

Yea I'd like to do that although I doubt packet sniffing would help for that.

You're right that I misread your post. However, hacking over wifi is just the same as using a wired connection, you're just using a different route of access. There are a ton of programs out there than can help you with this, and wireshark is just one of them.

A little bit of googling with some specific terms will get you a lot of places to start learning to remotely access networks.
You just need an objective really.
