I've been looking into it and still haven't found anything helpful. But, can anyone help me make a website? I've been trying to find a free way to do it, but I haven't found anything. Help?

Making is completely free if you know where to learn the codes. Hosting is the expensive bit, actually making your site accessible to others via internet. I'm sure if you keep looking you'll be able to find a host of some kind for cheap, if not you can always try to figure out how to turn your desktop into a server on your own.

You're gonna need to learn a programming language (for scrubs who are learning a language specifically for website stuff I recommend Ruby for it's fucking easy Sinatra package) and the markup language HTML. You can find information all over the internet, if you're a dumbass and still don't understand post your Steam ID here and I'll probably help you.

You can easily make websites for free on sites like webs.com. However, they will add in a bit to your name, for example "yournamehere.webs.com". Knowing HTML and CSS isn't required for sites like these, but you can still use them on there.

If you want to have your own domain, there will be no addition to the name, thus making it "yournamehere.com", "yournamehere.net" etc. I've never had my own domain, but from what I hear, you need to know HTML and CSS to do anything. You will also have to pay.

I highly recommend www.wix.com
It's pretty versatile.

In the future, the art of actually designing and creating things like apps and websites will be lost because people are comfortable using easy technology to make it for them. Don't take the pussy way out and use some cheap ass online tool to make a site for you, do it yourself.

People who use creation tools such as Wix and Webs do not know how to make websites, they drag and drop like children. Don't become one of them.

Not everybody has the time to maintain a website on their own, that's exactly why these services do so well... I used to maintain my own website aged 14 and that was fine because I had a tonne of free time. As a professional though, you want a website, you want it working, and you want someone else to be able to fix it for you when it breaks because you have better things to do. If you're lucky, you can ask an IT guy at your workplace to do it for you, but not everyone can do that.

Calling someone a "pussy" for not having the free time of the young or unemployed is a pretty stupid thing to do. If you want a website without having to learn how to make one from scratch, wix and squarespace a great. If you have the time or want to learn the skill, get stuck in and that's great too. If you want to be an elitist, listen to YoloLord...

>>10 I don't think you fully understand what's involved with maintaining a website because if you did then you'd know that it doesn't really involve a whole lot of time consuming maintenance.
Not to mention, you autistic fuck, that OP is asking how to *make* a website, he said nothing about maintaining it.

If you want to be a stupid faggot who ran a forum when he was 14 using some cheap ass forum software, listen to the no-name 'Megarame'. Mate, this guy is asking how to make a website not drag and drop shit and you are one of the scrubmaggots who actually believes that that is creating a website.

well first of all what kind of website do want to make? what is your skill? do you know anything about website making?
those free online ones dont have many options and tools to make them unique
best way is to make it from scratch but you have to know all the codes and how html and such work. adobe dream weaver is a good way to make websites but you do have to pay for the program and also you have to pay for the server.
but if you insist free the one i know of is webs maker but im not sure how helpful that will be :/

javascript:insert('>>11',1425173598) I do not think it is very wise to assume that people did something a certain way, especially if you do not know them personally.

Publishing it was a different story, maybe, but you need these guys anyway for that.
