Guys, this is amazing! Microsoft was secretly creating this wonderful masterpiece which is much better than what sony's VR is doing.

This live demonstration video was only uploaded yesterday and I really want to know how other Dollars are thinking about this.

With the 3D printer, you can literally print out your favourite figma haha!

There's a lot of expectation about Microsoft this year! Hope everything goes alright.

It's more like augmented reality then so called hologram, Microsoft just taking it to the next level.

This looks way rad! It would be super awesome if they had hololens working with an online library; then I could work on my thesis whenever I wanted to, in style.

I didn't really understand how her helicopter thingy was able to fly when it was 3D printed though -- I'm guessing they made additional edits? Still, I wonder when the release date and what the market value of this will be!

Ah Yes! I saw this on BBC News the other day, along with the release of Windows 10! According to the news report, playing games is made possible (you can play minecraft and have the world generated in your living room etc), also, work and reports can also be presented in a holographic style (much like in Iron Man and Jarvis haha). That will probably mean that you can see the hologram of Hatsune Miku and the other Vocaloids XDDD

Works better with Kinect...

Wonder how this will affect watching porn.

I know I'm not the only one thinking this.

Nah, it most likely uses a lot less materials than the Xbox One, and not as powerful software so it should be cheaper for them to produce and cheaper for them to price it.

don't get your hopes up, they never addressed the issue of having there stuff be in focus or even on the right plane since we all know how well there 3D image capture ventures are ay interpreting the world also they where showing adding dynamic lighting and shadows of unknown virtual objects onto surfaces in real time a very resource intensive process. Finally never showed it in less than studio surface of the sun lighting conditions.

I do like the potential this has for Yugioh Card Game. Or Pokemon Go.

...or,if you REALLY want to cause public debate, SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI GO

Haha, recruiting demons?Oh man,the catholic church would absolutely flip...or not.Bet you the Pope would have Metatron recruited fairly fast...

>>12 I would die for a Shin Megami Tensei Go! XD

The biggest thing I'm worried about is those of us with vision problems. I wonder if they've taken into account how it works for people with astigmatism, which is one of the most common vision problems.
