Yo guys. So there is this device called the Playbox which is a combination of an xbox one and ps4. It was made by a guy called Ed. It was posted on his website called Ed's Junk. Check it out, its pretty neat. Anyways the guy doesn't sell this stuff so I was wondering what you guys think about this. Should or should he not sell the playbox. I mean, he could get loads of money off a project like this and the public would love it! It could end the console wars between ps4 and xbox one as well! So all you dollars. I was wondering what you guys think about this. Please reply and let me know. Thank you!

Why do you guys think that it's not gonna sell as well as to why it's a bad idea.

He's not selling it anyway. It's a custom order, plus it's far from a bad idea. It allows you to have 2 of the consoles in one, and it being portable, while also allowing it to be HDMI out so you can move it to a big TV if you want.

If this is a horrible idea, so is the PSP, Gameboy, emulators as well.

Thiamor, this is exactly what I think and yes, I know he is not selling it but just imagine if he was. Sales would be through the roof and considering it is portable it makes it all the more better with the HDMI out. But you cant run both consoles at the same time(expected and then agin there would be no need to.) I honestly think that this custom order is a piece of beauty and I just wanted to share it with you dollars and see what you think about it.

So if he was sell it he would likely be sued by Sony or Microsoft or both, or even get hired by one of the two companies.

So this guy could just could have built a PC which is more powerful then both console combined.

Also no it would not end the console wars, as the only people who keep that going are the fanatic fanboyz who will only follow their console of "choice" and will keep saying theirs is better over the others.

Well Kaisuke I see your point and I totally agree with you but I just can't stop thinking about what an epic device it would be if he did sell it and would not be sued by Sony and Microsoft(though that is impossible) but *sighs* it would be cool.

The main reason why Sony and Microsoft has moved this way is because it saves time coding making it cheaper for them to make games multi platform, and they can have more cross platform titles with the PC as well.

There likely will never been one console that you can go out an buy that will run all game from every console, just ones that people make for them self's, or people will just use an emulator that will do the same job.
