Hi fellow Dollars~
I have a problem about my laptop...for some reason it won't let me browse...how can I say this...err when I open internet explorer, it won't work. But strangely I use wi-fi, and when I use opera or mozilla Firefox it works!

And also...every time I shut it down, it won't shut down. One night I shut it down, and the next day when I wanted to use it...the battery is drained off till 0%.
Would please someone help me? I don't get computer stuff that much so I really need your help...

There is not much information here to help you with. What happens when you open Internet explorer? Any error message? Is IE the only thing that doesn't work?

Have you ever shut it down at a high battery level? What does it get stuck at.

It said 'page is not available' when I open internet explorer but when I open mozilla the internet is working. As for the shut down...it takes a long long and long time, I've been trying to shut down and the next day when I back, the power is still on and the battery is drained.

So I've been using the power button to shut down...and I know it might cause damage to the laptop...but what should I do? If it keeps on like this, my laptop will be like overheat.

>>3 What Operating System do you have? And, again, what exactly is the shutting down stopping at? It just keeps saying 'Shutting Down...' and never does? Or, a black screen?

The screen just turn black...but the light still on. I don't really get what do you mean by operating system but I guess...Windows 8

>>5 Make sure you have all the Windows Updates installed. You can find out by pressing Start and typing in 'Windows Updates'. It should search and return that app. Otherwise, you can look for it yourself in Control Panel, which is also in the Start menu.

My laptop takes a lone time to shut down because it uses an SSD for caching. Do you know if your laptop has an SSD in it? How old/new is it? Not sure if that would stop it completely from shutting own, though.

Yeah, actually I want to update it but...now that the shut down is working normally again (due to refreshing the whole thing). Now my internet explorer and windows store won't work.

This is sucks...

Instead of using Internet Explorer use Google Chrome or something different
