The information the OP requested is not hard to find. It would take a lot of time, a lot of research, but it wouldn't be difficult or elusive to find at all. You don't apply for brokering like you do other jobs, it's not a linear nor common career. You don't take a course and become qualified like other jobs. There are many jobs in information and big data, and those are linear (and perhaps better suited for OP). Info Brokering is much different.
It just seems like a lot of people that want to go into this career don't really have a clue what it's like. Seems like you'd want to figure out that before you decide if you want to do it.
