Chromebooks are linked to your google account, which means it's not saved on the computer itself but your Google Drive (Cloud Server). Therefore, all your documents and what not are available on the internet.

As far as I know, the only way to copy and paste is Ctrl + C (Copy) and Ctrl + V (Paste). You can also use cut which is Ctrl + X. Back in my last year of highschool they switched out the PC's for shitty chromebooks since it was more convenient for our school which had a Google based communication. (Otherwords student emails and staff e-mails and what not were hosted by google).

Anyways that's how you Cut, Copy, and Paste. Chromebooks are complete trash and I hope the rest of the world realizes it.

Oh and Alt + E on Chromebook is equivalent to our typical Right Click.

Jeez. Freakin' Chromebooks. Everybody I know, including an owner of one, hates those things. I'm not even sure WHY they're still selling in the first place. They straight up suck.

let me explain further.

the chromebooks at my school are so great. the only thing i dislike is the fact they have no caps lock button.

i dont use shift to capitalize my letters. i use caps lock.

but i love the chrome books - wayy better than the macs. they're light, start up much faster, and have google chrome installed. i dont need to go through the trouble of installing it myself. (safari and firefox are both shit).

i love them. easy to use. all the problems described here are non existent for me. maybe it's just because i've used them for a while, or maybe i'm just biased to everything apple-created. but if i had to choose between a mac air and chromebook... i'd pick chromebook.

I looked up these laptops and I was just about to save up and get one, but then I changed my mind and said "Screw it, I'm just gonna get the MacBook Pro."

Chromebooks are stupid. who sat down and thought, "I'm going to create a laptop without a left click button"?

You tried a proxy? You can use a site or if they're blocked also you can bring in the hola app on a usb stick.

Try downloading a VPN (virtual Private Network) it may help...
