Hey all you American dollars. So in five days (9/15) the FCC will decide wether to create a internet fast lane or keep the net neutral. Net neutrality is super important because it is what keeps the internet a level playing field and helps promote free speech. Without it internet providers can slow down cites that do not pay a premium and speed up the ones that do. Basically this gives preference to big companies and squashes all the smaller start ups and businesses. Needless to say this must be stopped. One of the major ways you can help is the FCC has opened a comment period until September 15. There are also other websites like battle for the net which provide information on how you can help spread the word. So go and comment, make your voice heard, and help keep the internet free.
