Surveilance video (7)

My car was broken into on July 2nd in a Planet Fitness parking lot. They didn't have any surveillance footage, but they stole a lot of stuff from my car, including my wallet (don't lecture me on leaving my wallet in the car, I already know that that was a bad idea on my part). My credit card company was able to give me the addresses for all the gas stations the card was used, and the first gas station they went to was able to give me the footage.

I've been trying to open the file with several players: windows media player, QuickTime, VLC, Window live movie maker, Divx, and they all come with same message:

"No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "GAVC". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."

Do any of you have any ideas on how I can view the footage?

Use a file converter to convert it into a file it can read.

>>3 The file convertor still has to support GAVC files. I don't know of one that does.

There are online file converters that will and can covert any file to another. Just google it.

I use Freemake file converter, it's a free download and it's totally safe. I use it for everything.
