I used to have that issue myself on a old laptop I had, never got it resolved either, I tried reinstalling the drivers but it did not work.
So in basics I do not know how to fix it, it could be a hardware issue, in which case those things can be swapped out if you take it apart, but I do not suggest it as most of the time when you take apart a laptop it is difficult to put it back together.
If you are lucky it is a software issue, maybe try to use a restore point and if your lucky it might fix it.
