i imagine this is the right section to post this, since it does have to do with technology. can anyone tell me what the highest revolutions (as in spins around a central point) per second recorded is, and what is safe (as in won't fly apart from its own centrifugal force)? i need to know so i don't go destroying anything with something i am making
That depends on the strength of the material. The simplest way that doesn't involve you studying calculus and physics first involves googling the specs on the object being spun, or asking the company that made it.
Otherwise, look up centripetal force, integrals, double integrals, triple integrals, integrals in polar coordinates, integrals in cylindrical coordinates, and integrals in spherical coordinates.
>>2 sorry google comes up with to many different things most of them wrong. thank you for the suggestion of guinness >>3 thank you. i will check that out.
