As far as I can tell you no longer can easily just click reply to individual comments, to reply back. I still have yet to understand how to reply to comments on videos, where they receive a notification of such reply. Not the uploader, but the original comment poster receiving one.

I still can't use it after all this time. I made a YT account 3 days before this gigantic shift, and had fun those three days. Since then however the most I can do is search & watch videos, like/dislike, subscribe. I can't even thumb up any of the comments, much less make one. And I already have a Google account (but not G+, huge avoidable headache). It just annoys me that even in the community I can't communicate.

All interactions must be through G+ or at least have a G+ to be considered valid and operable

Your computer must have 3tb RAM in order to comment

We now have a hashtag ripoff system where you can +tag people to reply to them, but you can only reply like that

Anyone who hasn't linked up a G+ to GoogToob can only like/dislike vids, watch vids, and subscribe.

You can only sign up for GoogToob through your google acct. If you don't have a google account, tough luck.

Posting videos is pretty mainstream, huh?

I don't get why people react so strongly to getting a Google + account. I mean, it's free, you hardly ever have to use it, and it also links up nicely with Gmail.

I personally don't find the changes great, but there is nothing we can do about it, so we might as well just make the best of it.
