I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace. It works fine and doesn't seem to break too easily. After all, it fell onto a cement floor (or whatever it was) from a few feet, then fell twice the height into the grass and rolled over the sidewalk and is still working. Not sure about the best phone since I don't really keep up with that, haha.

I am pretty satisfied with Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. Unfortunately, I have managed to drown it in the beer yesterday... -_- I hope that it would work again... (and sorry for my english ;))

I Love My LG Optimus F3. its fast,HD has jellybean 4.1.2 and its Dual-Core. though i wish it was a little bit more powerful like an S3 but at least it runs my King Of Fighters and Asphalt 7 ok, but i do love the Sound quality when i listen to music...almost like the beats phone.

From what I've seen and read, arguably the best phone on the market would be the Moto Droid Maxx on Verizon. it may only have a dual core but it's still a 1.7 Gigahertz processor, as well as a 5" hd screen. Not to mention that it comes with almost completely stock Android. Unfortunately I toil away with my Galaxy Stratosphere 2.

Thanks all of you for your replies. And rieg how does your moto stands to new devices like galaxy note 3 and Xperia z1

The Droid Maxx isn't quite up to par in raw processing power or screen resolution against devices like the s4 or xperia z1 and nothing can really compete with the raw power of the note 3right now, but when it comes down to it, the hardware wars in the mobile phone industry are about over. Its the innovative software that controls the hardware that's becoming the issue. That's why I like the droid maxx; pure android OS and UI, best voice controls on the market and, while it may not be software, it has more than double the battery life of anything else on the market.

I agree with Reig raw processing power is not everything. The mighty note 3 even lags sometimes but my htc one doesn't. Can you please tell should I upgrade to a moto x or note 3 or wait for nexus 5 or mor innovative jolla since you own a droid you are closest to moto x so you can tell

The moto X is essentially the droid maxX with pretty colors and a smaller battery. But if you really like the idea of pure android, I'd wait for the nexus 5. The htc one is massively different from stock android so you may have issues with the transition to stock. So it depends, if you want innovative software features with lots of room for improvement go for the nexus. If you want it to have powerful features right out of the box but heavy limitations for later development, Go for the note 3. But im a moto fanboy so I'll praise the Maxx the most.

Hey Dean.

>HTC One if you want the best phone
>Galaxy S4 if you want the bigger screen with better colors
>Iphone 5S if you have another apple product like iPad or MBP

but if you buy a +200$ smartphone bear in mind they will be outdated in just 18 months.

Galaxy S5 will come next year with a new 64-bit CPU so things will develop WAY to fast.

My opinion is buy a simple phone just to make phone calls and text. And buy something like Galaxy Tab 3.0 7' or Nexus 5 10' or even an iPad mini to browse the web etc etc.

Anything beyond this reply will probably give you different alternatives but this is the right one.

Good luck!

What about now? I'm looking for a smartphone and i don't know where to start. I'll use it frequently and want to be able to take pictures a lot. Something not too frustrating and I'm not good at memorizing symbols and icon without captions.
