Hey guys! I was hoping someone out there could help me out!
So, I just borrowed my brother's pair of beats headphones the other day. Then, while i was wearing them, the cord caught on the corner of the counter, yanking on the headphones. I didn't thonk anything of it, til I started up my music again. The sobg was playing, but you can no longer hear the words. And this is true of all the songs I've tried playing while using the head phones. I checked and the cord seemed fine, so I have no idea what to do! Can anybody help me out?

There isn't anything you can do unless you rewire the entire pair of headphones.

so either rewire it properly or you owe your brother a pair.

I have the same problem too with some of my older headphones. there is definitely a defective contact inside the chord. with mine it usually works if I twist it in a certain direction, then the sound comes back. but you might sometimes have to hold it in that place to get the sound. hope this helps, just try it. (other option is to get new headphones...)

It's never worth twisting the ends or the cord where it's messed up, due to messing it up worse, and imagine what your brother is going to say or do, when he finds out he has to do that each time just to listen to a song properly, >>1?

You owe it to your brother to either rewire it (which is tedious work to do) or to buy him a new one since you caused this entire problem.

>>5 If you wish to learn how to rewire the headphones chords for future maintenance of new headphones. I'll gladly teach you how to do a cali-boy quick fix solution that usually lasts as long as you need them to.
