It'd be very hard and crazy to handle in real sense. Sure if you spent like a year or two with them and become a pro at it, it'd be good. But if people be stupid with them (which I certainly know people will be) its very possible they'll die. Though it'd be fun if your quick enough to use it. You know now this has popped up. (Considering the speed in which these things go) I'm surprised I haven't seen a A-T or from the series, Air Gears, thread made. But that's a different topic.

also that 3D maneuver gear the op posted is just for cosplay i,e you cannot prepare yourself with it like in the anime.
