For the people who own a nintendo dsi if you have a Flipnote account or if you post flips on the site so sorry to say that it will be shut down on May 31, 2013 this ( Friday ) because of the new nintendo 3ds this is what it says on the site " We would like to thank everyone for contributing to and building the wonderful community on Flipnote Hatena.
Flipnote Hatena started in December 2008 and is enjoyed by users all over the world.With the upcoming release of the new nintendo 3ds appication Flipnote Studio 3d this summer, we are discontinuing the Flipnote Hatena community available to users of Flipnote Studio on the Nintendo dsi system and the Flipnote Hatena website on May 31, 2013 this Friday.
We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to be home of so many amazing Flipnotes and animators, and truly appreciate the support we have received from are user community since Flipnote Hatena began. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the discontinuation of the service.
After the Flipnote Hatena service ends on May 31,2013 this Friday, we look forward to seeing your new animations made with Nintendo's Flipnote Studio 3d, and welcome you to take part in Hatena's other online services.

Flipnote Studio 3d
Flipnote Studio is scheduled to arrive in summer 2013 as a free download from the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3ds. Flipnote Studio 3d will allow you to create 3d animations and to draw or paint in six different colors. Two new online communities will be ready for the release of Flipnote Studio 3d.
