I want to know what you guys think of a Perfect A.I (Artificial Intelligence). I as a child grew up with the show Megaman/Rockman NT Warrior. I always thought what it would be like if a perfect A.I belonged to everyone. Would they be human companions, or do you think they would just be slaves. I would really like all to answer. No answer here is wrong, just state your opinion.

It depends on your definition of AI. In my opinion, if you program anything that can be thought of as a form of consciousness, then I think they should be kept as companions or completely free. But if your definition of AI includes machines such as factory automatic building thingies, or air traffic controllers, then of course some of these must be used as "slaves".

Of course, that wouldn't qualify as "Perfect" AI, so I'd rather have them as free entities, which could cooperate with humans if we (humans and AI) both wanted the cooperation to happen.

Another thing, do you think a perfect A.I is possible?

Anyways, if someone actually creates an AI I hope they don't use it for slavery, bacause if they do they'll become aware of their actions and rebel against their masters.

I think it is possible to have a perfect A.I and each person will treat it's own A.I in a different way.
But I myself would consider it as a companion.

Robots are asexual. Navi thinks that robots can have a sex, but I heavily disagree for a variety of reasons.

The first thing that came to mind is Chobits...

After having done plenty of research, you'll eventually roll into two categories:

1) Pure metal A.I - E.G, software and hardware only. To which, they won't think like we do - at all. For example, everyone values their life, and existance. Who's to say the AI will? Maybe it can both know it exsists and feel no attatchment to staying in existence, since that drive is part of our biological nature.

So Full Metal AI's will be anything you program them to be.

2) Wetwear AI. As in, taking living brain tissues either engineered from the ground up specifically for that, or slightly modified pre-existing brain tissues, and having it connect to the machine. Which would result in basically a wildcard.

No predictable template for this one. You could have something as human as a regular living organism, or just another roundabout way of achieving a Metal AI setup.
