We all know that gadgets are some of the most expensive consumer products you can buy these days (short of vehicles). So, if you had a few grand you could spend on any gadgets you wanted, what would you buy?

Right now I have a laptop and a television that doubles as a second screen/monitor. If I had a few grand laying around, I would buy a desktop computer, another monitor, and a sound system.

What I'd want in the Desktop: (Primary use is video editing)
- Intel Core i5
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- 1TB Hard Drive
- ATI Radeon Series GPU with 1-2 GB Dedicated VRAM

The Monitor: 18.5", to match the size of my TV.

The Sound System: Doesn't matter what kind, really.

Im just going to follow the trend n say some of the list that I created a while back.
Intel Core i5 3.2GHz Quad-Core
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
Radeon HD 7870 2GB

Incompatiable with the other parts, but Ill make a note of it.

Also, when did that come out, the 4.2

The only things that I would want is a bigger monitor and another nvidia gtx 680. Though monitors over 30" tend to be above a grand.

Though I already have a really nice build that I saved up for, cost me about 2.5 grand.

Force field. nuff' said and I don't care if it doesn't exist.

CD player! Im pissed that my other one broke, best thing to have when your working or working out.
