Ubeam, first versions of Wireless Electricity. (14)

Saw a commercial for computers, and it just mentioned Ubeam. I think it is the first steps towards what Tesla envisioned, a world without electrical plugs. I watched a little demo and a transmitter emits high frequency waves to excite the reciever, or a battery. By exciting the reciever electricity is produced, with no wires.

It only came about 100-years after it should have, but hey.

Oh, and you're missing a picture and a link.

The picture is somewhat unexciting. It's kinda just a box with lines on the top, but the fact it exists is pretty cool. Not sure how efficient it is though.

Don't really see where a picture would be handy, but here is a link for a demo of the prototype.

>>5 It doesn't matter. This isn't just some traditional forum where your thread could look like shit and nobody would care. A picture and a thread would make it look like you actually tried.

>>6 Shut the fuck up. If he couldn't find a picture, he couldn't find a picture. It's not required. I mean shit, look at Main. Main doesn't allow pictures. We still have quality threads. At least he got a link. Be satisfied with that.

>>7 I doubt that there isn't a picture on Google images that he could have posted, and even if there wasn't he could have at least put a link in his thread. And fyi the threads in Main have a better structure AND hyperlinks than this thread.

Look, I don't want to waste my fucking time arguing this stupid shit. Just remember to improve your damn threads in the future, ok?

>>9 Don't start shit then. This thread is better than most people make. It's more than a one liner. Just because it's not as perfect as a couple of other threads doesn't mean you need to start shit. One liners, I'd understand.

I don't post too often, at least not my own thread. So to end this whole misunderstanding I am more on King Dude's side. I just thought this topic was quite interesting, since one of Tesla's visions might finally be starting.

>>11 Look, sorry I'm being so pissed off over this. I know that some people legitimately haven't practiced this enough to make a great thread. As long as you learn from your mistakes as well as other people's threads that are great, I won't be pissed. It's when people don't learn that I start to get pissed.

Anonymous, the fact that there isn't a link on the first post, when we, 100 times over say every topic that is stating some news worthy FACTS, needs a source to it makes his actions okay.

Now he has every right to state it how he did, mainly due to the fact we get this shit a fuck ton more than you probably think. So his actions were warranted.

He may have posted it afterwards, but next time he needs to make sure it's in the first post.
