hey im wondering if anyone can tell me which is better and why, i mainly want to know if my internet and stuff will be any different if i switch to AT&T. could anyone give me some insight?
Are you trying to switch to AT&T? Let me tell you a bit of advice. Don't. Today, all they had to do was install U-verse. They were 1 1/2 hours late, came, charged their ipads, left, came back 3 hours later with a total of 2 guys (getting serious now), and slacked off until 4:30 -ish so they could clock in for the 5 o'clock shift to receive overtime. It took them 8 hours to install u-verse. Me and some friends moved everything in one house to the other in the same amount of time.
Stick with smaller companies, OP. You'll get worse service, but they probably won't cut you out of your money and give you terrible service. (The bill was over $200 for installation)
I use comcast and I have really reliable service once they got it running. The guy who installed our cable/internet was awesome and very polite. One thing is we get overcharged once like a year and have to get that back in credit.
Also we only have a basic(and pay for basic) cable but we get the channels a premium package does. We've told them multiple times but they don't seem to care.
Comcast is expensive IMO, but it works really well. They have great customer service, as well.
AT&T isn't worth it, honestly. I've dealt with enough jackasses from that company to know the customer service often sucks, and to be honest, the quality isn't really better. If you can afford Comcast, don't change.
