This thread is for people to post instructions to create something, be it software or hardware.

Example projects could be:

Lasers
Solar Panels
Toy Mods
Radio Telescope
Gaming System Mods

As long as most of the materials are found around the house or bought cheaply, you can post the instructions here.

Thermite is relatively simple to make, and its capabilities are matchless. I've used it to melt through a 3.5" Steel hard drive, while another friend of mine used it to make a 32" CRT TV explode.

Red Iron II Oxide, as well as Aluminum Powder are needed to make it.

The Chemical Formula is Fe2O3 + 2 Al → 2 Fe + Al2O3 + 849,000 J/mol

The ratio I normally use is:
- 2395.5g Red Iron II Oxide
- 809.4g Aluminum Powder

or some proportion of those two amounts.

I will post an actual synthesis list here in just a second.
