Well, this will undoubtably help some of you out there, as I'm sure you've encountered this problem before.
Ever have a simple windows application that is windows only, and you really don't want to run bootcamp or pull out the ol' PC to use it? Well, there's a fix for that.

Introducing: wine & wine bottler.

Wine is a program that allows you to do just that! Keep in mind it is an EXPERIMENTAL build, so it won't work with everything. Personally, I've tried it with a few programs, and it runs quite smoothly.

Now, what's wine bottler, you ask? Wine bottler tries to take the .exe file and convert it to a mac application. It should be noted that this is an even LESS stable build, and is not guaranteed to work at all times.

Still, this should help significantly in your .exe troubles, mac users. Enjoy.

EXTRA NOTES:
-Build is Intel ONLY
-It's a Beta, so don't expect a one-time fix.
-Don't freak out if console pops up, it's supposed to do that if you try running wine by itself.
-Be sure to run wine once before trying to run a .exe, just so you can confirm with your computer that "this application is safe" when it sees you downloaded it from the internet.
-I'm not sure if it runs games yet, although it is HIGHLY unlikely, since it has trouble enough with programs.
-Programs that install to C: or some other location WILL NOT WORK, because there is no C: drive. Simple as that.
-Post any problems here. I may or may not be able to help, based on the problem.
