I need help in my assignment guys, all I know so far is that Windows is a GUI, Unix is a CLUI, while Linux has both GUI and CLUI. Please help me guys. Thank you! :D

Unix is proprietary and is used primarily for workstations and servers. Linux (derived from "like-UNIX") is open source and is used for workstations and servers, among other hardware with a supported CPU architecture. Windows is proprietary and is used for home computers primarily, and servers secondarily.

lol, it wasn't a typo. it was a folder named that way based off of the name that Linus was trying to replace which was tited “Linus’ Minix”. and even though Lins wanted to name it Freax, Lemmke's name stuck.

oh, but king dude was right in Linus' program's name deriving from UNIX. FREAX was a combo of 'free' 'freak', and 'unix'. :) (source was the internet just to let you know. so you should double check and pick which one you want to use. there's a few theories. i just like these ones.)
