Ipod Touch Problem. (7)

Hey guys!
Hm, well my IPod has been glitching(blanking out) a lot recently and a few days ago, while I was researching, it suddenly blanked out and I was stuck using the computer. I've tried charging it to the computer, but it shows that "Apple device not plugged in" when I checked ITunes and it would only show a low-battery sign with a lightning icon, when it really isn't low-battery.

This one's iPod touch 4th generation. Any advice? If so, thanks.

Did you have it Jail Broken?

Typically when something like this happens, the easiest thing to do is throw it in DFU mode and restore from a backup. Or manually reinstall apps and music if the problem persists.

Hold tight while I dig up the DFU sequence.

did you know that it's not illegal to jailbreak your iPod (i still won't though). If you take your iPod to the store and depending on the problem it has, apple will jailbreak your iPod for you and return it to you. lol.

It's never been illegal.
They tried to make it illegal and the DCMA was like "lulnope"
